Nestled in the heart of Touraine, on the banks of the Loire, our gîte enjoys a privileged location in the heart of a 5000 m² landscaped and wooded park, ideal for a peaceful getaway. A must-see stop on the Loire à Vélo cycling route, our house is the perfect starting point for exploring a region where history, culture, and the art of living come together.

Here, every stone has its story, the local produce finds its way onto every plate.

Walk in the footsteps of Joan of Arc in Chinon, explore the birthplace of Rabelais , imbued with his verve and festive spirit, or rediscover the world of Balzac , deeply marked by his native Touraine.

A wide range of activities await you nearby, in the vicinity of the cottage: Visit the most beautiful Loire castles less than 20 minutes away – Azay-le-Rideau , Ussé , Villandry … Stroll through charming villages like Chinon , Langeais or Candes-Saint-Martin .

Explore the Loire landscapes at your own pace: on foot, by bike or on horseback. Those with a more dreamy disposition can enjoy a leisurely ride in a traditional flat-bottomed boat or try their hand at fishing just a stone's throw from our property.

Families will also find plenty to enjoy: paddleboarding, canoeing, go-karting, treetop adventure courses; and two internationally renowned zoos – La Flèche and Beauval – as well as Futuroscope , all located less than an hour from the cottage.

On the gastronomic side, local flavours take center stage: rillons and rillettes from Tours , andouillettes from Vouvray, Sainte-Maure de Touraine cheese, Valençay cheese, dried pears …

Wine lovers will be delighted to discover the prestigious appellations of Chinon and Bourgueil , renowned for their elegant red wines, as well as the Saumur vineyard with its dry whites and delicate fine bubbles.
