Just a short walk from the famous "Sleeping Beauty Castle", Le Clos des 2 Lys offers you a stay combining comfort, elegance and relaxation in an idyllic setting.

Nestled in the heart of Touraine, on the banks of the Loire, our cottage enjoys a privileged location, in the heart of a landscaped and wooded park of 5000 m², ideal for a peaceful getaway. An essential stop on the Loire à Vélo route, our house is the perfect starting point for exploring a region where history, culture and the art of living come together.

Here, each stone has its own story, the terroir is invited into each plate.

Walk in the footsteps of Joan of Arc in Chinon, explore the native lands of Rabelais , imbued with his verve and festive spirit, or rediscover the world of Balzac , deeply marked by his native Touraine.

Around the cottage, a wide range of activities awaits you nearby: Visit the most beautiful Loire Valley châteaux less than 20 minutes away – Azay-le-Rideau , Ussé , Villandry , etc. Stroll through characterful villages like Chinon , Langeais , or Candes-Saint-Martin .

Explore the Loire Valley landscapes at your own pace: on foot, by bike, or on horseback. Dreamers can indulge in a ride on a traditional toue or indulge in fishing just a stone's throw from our property.

Families will also find what they are looking for: paddleboarding, canoeing, karting, treetop adventure park; and two internationally renowned zoos – La Flèche and Beauval – as well as Futuroscope , all located less than an hour from the gîte.

On the gastronomic side, there is room for local flavors: rillons and rillettes from Tours , andouillettes from Vouvray, cheese from Sainte-Maure de Touraine, Valençay, pears tapées …

Wine lovers will be delighted to discover the prestigious appellations of Chinon and Bourgueil , renowned for their elegant red wines, as well as the Saumur vineyard with its dry whites and delicate, fine bubbles.
